Why do template sites fail?
When an owner shows me their current site, the story is usually the same one. A template bought a few years back. A stack of plugins nobody chose on purpose. A contact form that stopped sending at some point, quietly, and nobody noticed because nobody was watching. The site still looks fine on the laptop it was built on. On the phones your customers actually hold, it drags.
Hand-coding fixes this for a boring, structural reason: fewer moving parts. There is no plugin stack to rot and nothing to update except your content. Google's own bar for a healthy mobile load is 2.5 seconds; the portfolio I built for ACY measures 1.9, and it went live the day after she asked. The care plan is the other half of the answer. Can you redesign a site I already have?
Yes. A website redesign keeps your domain and everything that's working, and rebuilds what isn't. Any address that changes gets a permanent redirect, so the Google standing your old pages earned carries over instead of resetting to zero. And if what you need is three small fixes rather than a rebuild, I'll tell you that on the call, which costs nothing.
Design, or development too?
Both, in the literal sense: I write the code. Design and web development are one pair of hands here, which is a big part of why the sites hold together. When a business needs more than pages, the Professional tier covers real software: booking flows, client portals, and dashboards that pull their own data. That's how WanderCraft's seventeen profiles stay current without anyone touching them.
WHERE WE WORK
Based in Long Beach and working all over it: Belmont Shore, Bixby Knolls, Naples, the East Village, and everywhere in between. The service area runs about 25 miles out, which covers Signal Hill, Lakewood, Seal Beach, Los Alamitos, Carson, and San Pedro. Further away? Also fine.
