Websites for photographers.

A photographer's website has to do one hard thing: show full-size work and still load in under two seconds on a phone. ACY's portfolio does both. It measured 1.9 seconds, and it went live the day after she asked.

Launch is $1,500 to build plus $95/mo for care, live in 1–2 weeks. Call or text (562) 246-9792, or book the free call and bring whatever you have.

What we built.

ACY is a photographer and videographer in Florida. Her portfolio is galleries, motion films and field notes in a calm, image-first layout, built on the Launch plan. Lighthouse scored its performance 98 on a phone, with the largest image painting at 1.9 seconds.

She asked with less than 24 hours of notice. In her words: "Mockup within the hour, live before I woke up." The portfolio is invite-only now at her request, so the case study carries the walkthrough.

What a photographer website has to do.

Every image sized for the screen that asks for it

A gallery is slow when the phone downloads the same export the desktop gets. We resize and re-encode every image at build into several widths, and the browser picks the smallest one that fills the screen. The full-size file is never sent to a phone.

Galleries by the work you want booked

Weddings, portraits, product, film: a gallery per kind of job, so a client looking for one thing sees only that. The homepage leads with the work you want more of, not everything you have ever shot.

An inquiry form that asks the right three questions

Date, kind of shoot, and where. The form that gets filled out is the short one, and those three answers are what you need before you quote. The form is the one integration included in Launch.

Your name is the search term

People search a photographer by name after seeing the work somewhere else. Your name goes in the title, the structured data and the image descriptions, so the search for it lands on your site and not on a directory profile.

THE PLAN THAT FITS

ACY's portfolio was a Launch build: three pages, one form, live in 1–2 weeks. A photographer who also wants blog posts, a pricing page and client galleries behind a password fits Business.

QUESTIONS PHOTOGRAPHERS ASK US

How much does a photography website cost?

$1,500 for a Launch portfolio, plus $95/month for hosting, monitoring and edits. That is the plan the ACY portfolio was built on. Up to six pages with analytics is Business at $3,500. The scope is written down before you pay, and the full table is on the pricing page.

Can I add new galleries and shoots myself?

On Business and Custom, yes: the pages are built with content you can edit, including the galleries. On every plan, care includes one content edit a month from us, up to 30 minutes, which covers swapping a gallery's images. A whole new page comes from the add-on menu at a price you see first.

Do you work with photographers outside Long Beach?

Yes. ACY is in Florida, and the whole build happened over a call and a shared folder. Most of our clients are within 25 miles of Long Beach, but a portfolio site needs nothing from us in person. Send the work, we send a mockup, and the rest is the same either way.
